Fagan - thanks for your handy work with the field. The mound and home plate areas were sweet today. I`ve never known of any player who would come to a training session just to do that and not play. Class. |

We have a big couple of games against Halton on Sunday, if you have not contacted me regarding availability, please do so ASAP. We will be meeting at the ground at 9.15, bring green uniforms (Halton play in Black)! |

Guys surely the online system is simply automated, I doubt anyone even looked at the circumstances. If all the northern clubs don`t want the loss for forfiet rule to apply then just ask as a group the BBF to change it for this season. The rule should still apply when working out gets to play offs though. |

Thanks to all at MBC for helping us out earlier this season by agreeing to rearrange the Humber/Torrent game to last Sunday. Your assistance was really appreciated by Gav, the Marshall family and all at Humber Pilots.
We in the North need to stick together and help each other as best we can. Many clubs are running on a knife edge as can be seen from what has happened at Barnsley, the old Hull club and Liverpool last year. It was touch and go before the start of this season if we were to continue and we are now down to what is mostly a mixture of 14 year olds and veterans.
Really enjoyed the games on Sunday, as usual a pleasure to play you guys.

I completely echo what has been said by you guys. I`m thoroughly disappointed that the Torrent`s win has been discounted, especially considering how much Manchester Baseball Club has contributed to the sport. Such policies would only serve to discourage players and clubs from competing. How about a proactive rather than a reactive approach from the BBF? |

I have sent this to John Walmesley. However I have made it clear that as the ex president of MBC these are my thoughts and not the clubs. The joys of being a backbencher!!! |
